This Lent in all our parishes across the diocese, we are focusing on “Listening” to God and to each other. People can participate in this listening process in a number of ways:
By attending an in-person gathering on Monday 28th March in Cill Mhuire Church from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
By taking, completing and returning one of our Listening Lent brochures
Online via the Kandle website.
We encourage all parishioners to get involved in this listening process and to take this opportunity to have your say, especially by coming to the meeting on March 28th. You can register for this meeting by emailing [email protected] by 25th March or by leaving a message on (087) 610 7528. We look forward to welcoming you!
At their recent Spring General Meeting, the Irish Bishops praised the charitable efforts of people across the country.
They said, “Already millions of people have been forced to flee their homes as refugees. It is a source of inspiration that people all over Ireland are responding with customary generosity to support humanitarian efforts in this crisis. Many parish communities have already established links with charitable projects to support refugees and those remaining in Ukraine.” Recognising these urgent needs, the bishops are asking that a Stations of the Cross on Friday nights during Lent at 7pm in St. Conleth’s special collection be taken up at all Masses on the weekend of Sunday 27 March.
