As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear; our health, our family and our friends. May your year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon you and bestow upon each of you a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.

Join us Saturday, 31st December at 7pm in St. Conleth's Parish Church as we come together to pray for peace in our World. The World Day of Peace — celebrated each year on Jan. 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.

We wish you peace and happiness at this holy time of year, as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, our Light and our Hope in all seasons. Merry Christmas!

This final week of Advent we light the final purple candle, known as the angel's candle symbolising peace.

Today we celebrate the third Sunday of the Advent Season. It is called Gaudete Sunday, because our hearts are joyful in anticipation of the coming of Jesus Christ.

The next Healing Mass will take place in Cill Mhuire on Tuesday 13th of December at 7.30 pm. The evening will begin with Mass followed by a time of guided prayer for healing. One of the priests of the parish will be available for anyone who would like to receive Confession or the Sacrament of the Sick.

Our Christmas schedule for 2022. We welcome you to celebrate Christmas with us. After the busy few weeks in the lead-up to Christmas, slow down, take in what is around you, attend Mass and rediscover the glory of the season!

Today we light the second purple candle on our Advent Wreath. John the Baptist asks us to "Prepare the way of the Lord" (Matthew 3:3 ). Let us pray that we fully experience the peace of Christ. May His coming fill us with true inner peace.
